PMI Canberra April Monthly Event

Join Zoey Zheng for a thought-provoking session exploring a crucial question in modern project management:
Is value merely created by projects—or should it also be equitably distributed?
In this event, Zoey will draw from her current doctoral research at the Australian National University to unpack the dynamics of stakeholder influence, participation, and the often-overlooked mechanisms of value distribution within complex project environments. This session aims to challenge traditional assumptions about value ownership and inspire new conversations about inclusivity, equity, and impact in project delivery. Ideal for project professionals, researchers, and anyone passionate about creating meaningful and lasting value through projects.
Zhiwen "Zoey" Zheng is a PhD candidate in Project Management at the Australian National University, where her research focuses on stakeholder engagement and its role in enhancing value within project ecosystems. With a background in both business and finance, Zoey has held various roles across academia and industry, including as an Academic Tutor and Research Assistant at ANU, and in finance and service management roles in China. She currently serves as the Associate Director of Event Operations at the PMI Canberra Chapter, where she applies her project management expertise to bring innovative, research-driven insights into practice.
